Writing opens the soul
The role of the writer in society is under constant evolution, as technology and our global perspectives are in continual shift. In this day and age, it is not only important for our students to understand language in terms of grammar and vocabulary, but also how their ideas in written form can reflect these shifts.
At Voyagers’ Creative Writing camp, participants will be able to foster a bond between their words and ideas in an age when effectively communicating and advocating for oneself and others is absolutely vital.
Through the study of traditional, such as poetry, fiction, and playwriting, and more contemporary genres, such as graphic novels, personal essays, and blogs, students will be able to further hone their critical and creative minds for the present and, more importantly, the future.
